Memorial Chorten
A snapshot of Bhutanese people from all walks of life

As it is the case with all temples and other sites in Bhutan, this isn't just your run of the mill tourist attraction. Here you will get a chance to view Bhutanese people from all generations, practice their faith in the simplest easiest way they know, whether is circumambulating the stupa, or performing prostrations in it. You will see older Bhutanese holding prayer, and younger ones especially during exam times confident that few more rounds will make the difference between being held back and moving onto the next grade. While this stupa may not be as old some of the other monuments in Bhutan, it has been integral part of live for those living around it.
