Hotel Norbuling is a recently opened boutique hotel in Thimphu which features standard and deluxe with two double beds and executive suites with king sized bed.The executives suites have a separate seating area andside tables. Plush down duvets, flat screen TV are also available in all of the rooms along with complimentary wifi. The average room sizes at this hotel are at the larger end of the range. All of the rooms in this hotel are beautifully done, with traditonal rugs placed on hardwood floor. Bhutanese design elements are fused with western minimilism in a very tasteful way here.
If these features weren't enough, the hotel's location central location makes this new hotel very hard to pass up. The hotel is located on Chang Lam(road), right above the archery grounds. Changlimithang stadium where all the major event like National day celebration, Royal birthdays, and Soccer matches is only a block or two away. Other nearby attraction include the clock tower square where local events are held often, and a number of very highly rates, restaurants,hotels, shops, bars and clubs.
This hotel also features a restaurant which serves continental,chinese and Indian dishes
Really appreciate YANA's professional organization of the entire trip. Could not imagine how a trekking trip could such be well organized - more or less like a 5-star hotel with the only difference of we were at more than 3,000 above sea level.
